I’m a #KinderMom again! My sons are #KinderKids! I can’t tell you how happy this made us feel when we received the notice that we were “in”. It’s incredible how such a little product (the Kinder Egg of course) can make one feel so cheerful. The Kinder February project is to share with you how we will spend our Spring Break and what activities we do or what tips we have for traveling. Well the timing for this post could be just a wee bit better (only by a few days). You see, I am in the process of securing a dream vacation with a dream company for our Spring Break and then this post would be all about traveling with Kinder! However, because all approvals have not been granted I can’t go there yet.
Typically Spring Break hasn’t had an effect on our household. I have only one child in school and every year his Nana comes to town to visit him for the week. This leaves the little one and I with plenty of time on our hands. However, I can still give you a tip for your Spring Break, especially if you are having a “Staycation”. It’s called Pinterest. Pinterest is the newest and shiniest social media craze and the online themed bulletin boards offer more creativity than I could ever hope to dream of. From crafts to science experiments, cooking to renovating, I assure you, if you’ve thought of it – it’s there. As a matter of fact, I think I will start a #KinderMom board and start pinning all of our favorite Kinder toys and pictures and I am sure we can even find some recipes using Kinder chocolate! I will of course start on the Kinder Facebook page where we keep checking out all the new toys and entering the monthly contests.
Oh… and that dream Spring Break trip? If you want to know where we were, I will definitely post our Kinder moment on the contest page!
